Patan Durbar Square

Patan Durbar Square lies in the center of Lalitpur city (historically Patan) is an ancient royal palace where Malla kings have resided. Today, this site is one of the World Heritage Sites afflicted to cultural sites. Patan is one of the oldest Buddhist city and a city of fest and festivals.

Important places: The major structures outside of Durbar Square are Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen temple, Vishwanath temple. Taleju Bhawani temple, etc. There are other place to visit like: Golden Temple, Kumbeshwor and so on.

Festivals: This place is the festival spot for Kumari jatra, Rato Machindranath Jatra, Janai Purnima, Matchya:, Bhimsen Puja, Krishna Janmoutshav and more.

Entrance fee: Rs. 500 for foreigners, Rs. 100 for SAARC

Chandragiri Hills

Chandagiri is a religious place from the ancient history from before it has been highlighted in the media. Hindu followers use to visit the pilgrimage in name of Dhencho Dara during the month of Baishak 1 of every year. Followers use to travel though tracking trails as part of hiking. In present days the place is popular for cable car, the temple and snowfall.

Entrance fee: Rs. 415 (1 way) and Rs.700 (2 way) for Nepali and SAARC , US$9 (1 way) and US$15 (2 way) for Chinese and US$13 (1 way) and US$22 (2 way) for foreigners
